Temperature Gauge: Testing and Inspection

The temperature gauge will be energized when the ignition switch is set to the Drive position.
1. Check fuse 13 and that power is supplied to it.
2. Check that temperature gauge has power supplied to it.
3. Ensure open does not exist in coolant temperature transmitter.
4. Check connectors, cable harnesses and ground connections.
5. Resistance of temperature transmitter should be 46.9-55.5 ohms at 194°F.
