1 Remove the nut for fixing the wire to the motor bracket.
2 Remove the motor. KDW Actuator Motor
3 Remove the cable tie from the bracket.
4 Remove the two steering gear retaining bolts and press the steering gear rearwards.
5 Remove the retaining bolts and remove the motor bracket.
To fit
1 Fit the motor bracket to the frame.
2 Push the steering gear forwards into the right position and fit the two retaining bolts.
Tightening torque: 60-80 Nm (44.3-59.0 lbf ft)
3 Fit the motor back in place. KDW Actuator Motor
4 Fasten the cable tie to the bracket.
5 Fit the wire to the motor bracket without tightening the retaining nut.
6 Move the lever up against its stop and then pull the sheathing rearwards to the stop in the transmission, checking that it passes the Kick-Down position. Tighten the retaining nut for the wire.
7 Use an ISAT instrument to calibrate the KDW actuator motor. Calibration of TCS
