Description

The throttle position switch is replaced in the LH 2.4.2 system by a position sensor. This provides the control module steplessly with information on the position of the throttle.

Throttle position sensing is adaptive, which means that the control module "learns" which throttle angle signals correspond to idling speed and wide open throttle. As a result, all manual adjustment of the position sensor is unnecessary although basic setting must be carried out manually.
