Connecting Pressure Sensor

It is not necessary to connect the pressure tester unless a pressure related fault is detected.
The system must be depressurized before work is started. To do this, with ignition switch off depress brake pedal approximately 20 times until positive resistance is felt in the pedal.
1. Remove ABS fuse/relay box.
2. Using an 8mm Allen key, remove accumulator.
3. Connect pressure hose to accumulator port on hydraulic unit.
4. Fit pressure sensor onto hose, Fig. 6.
5. Set accumulator onto pressure sensor, then place accumulator where it will not obstruct closing of the hood.
6. Loosely refit the fuse box.
7. Reverse procedure to disconnect pressure sensor.
