Cutting the Electric Wiring






Wiring in the Saab 900 -M93
Suitable tools are cable cutters and a pneumatic compass saw.


Important
In connection with recycling, wiring harnesses should be stripped clean of battery terminal lugs and large connectors.


1 Remove all plastic for recycling.
2 Remove the car's battery.

Engine bay
3 Cut the wiring harness at the front on the right- hand side and by the fuse box on the left-hand side.
4 Withdraw the wiring harness.
5 Cut the wiring externally by the bulkhead partition on the left-hand side.
6 Cut the wiring externally by the bulkhead partition on the right-hand side.
7 Pull the wiring harness loose.

Left-hand and right-hand sides
8 Cut the wiring harness by the right-hand A pillar.
9 Cut the wiring by the left-hand A pillar.
10 Cut the wiring under the steering column member.
11 Cut the wiring where the floor tunnel joins the bulkhead.
12 Cut the wiring at both B pillars.
13 Cut the wiring under the rear seat.
14 Pull the wiring harness loose.

Luggage compartment
15 Cut the wiring harness at the left-hand rear light cluster.
16 Cut the wiring at the right-hand rear light cluster.
17 Cut the wiring at the tailgate hinge.
18 Pull the wiring harness loose.







Wiring in the Saab 900 M94-
Wiring harness recycling is carried out on a model year 1994 Saab 900.

Suitable tools are cable cutters and a pneumatic compass saw.


Important
In connection with recycling, wiring harnesses should be stripped clean of battery terminal lugs and large connectors.
1 Remove all plastic for recycling.
2 Remove the car's battery.

Engine bay
3 Cut the wiring harness at the front on the right- hand side.
4 Cut the wiring at the bulkhead on the left-hand side. Remove the wiring harnesses.

Left-hand side
5 Out the wiring harness at the A pillar.
6 Cut the wiring at the seat member.
7 Cut the wiring at the B pillar.
8 Cut the wiring by the floor at the rear.
9 Pull the wiring harness loose.

Luggage compartment
10 Cut the wiring harness at the right-hand rear light cluster.
11 Give the wiring harness a few jerks.
12 Cut the wiring at the left-hand rear light cluster.
13 Pull the wiring harness loose.

Right-hand side
14 Cut the wiring harness at the front wing.
15 Cut the wiring at the bulkhead. Remove the wiring harness.
16 Pull the wiring harness in through the bulkhead.
17 Cut the wiring at the A pillar.
18 Cut the wiring at the seat member.
19 Cut the wiring at the B pillar. Remove the wiring harness.
20 Cut the wiring at the ignition switch.
21 Cut the wiring in the middle of the dashboard. Pull the wiring harness loose.

Under the front seats
22 Remove the front seats
23 Cut the wiring harness at the seat member. Remove the wiring harness.







Wiring in the Saab 9000
Wiring harness recycling is carried out on a model year 1991 Saab 9000 CD.

Suitable tools are cable cutters and a pneumatic compass saw.


Important
In connection with recycling, wiring harnesses should be stripped clean of battery terminal lugs and large connectors.
1 Remove all plastic for recycling.
2 Remove the car's battery.

Engine bay
3 Start by cutting the wiring harness at the front on the right-hand side.
4 Cut the wiring at the left-hand structural member.
5 Cut the wiring harnesses by the bulkhead. Remove the wiring harnesses.

Left-hand side
6 Cut the wiring at the A pillar.
7 Cut the wiring at the seat member.
8 Cut the wiring at the B pillar.
9 Cut the wiring by the floor at the rear.
10 Pull the wiring harness loose.

Luggage compartment
11 Cut the wiring harness at the right-hand rear light cluster.
12 Pull the wiring harness.
13 Cut the wiring at the left-hand rear light cluster.
14 Pull the wiring harness loose. Right-hand side
15 Cut the wiring harness at the A pillar.
16 Cut the wiring at the seat member.
17 Cut the wiring at the B pillar. Under the front seats
18 Remove the front seats.
19 Cut the wiring harness at the seat member, using a hammer. Remove the wiring harness.
