Headlamps

FAULT DIAGNOSIS HINTS
The head lamps will be switched on when ignition switch 20 is in position X and lights switch 10 is in position 2.
1. Check that fuses 8 and 9 (main beam) and 6 and 7 (dipped beam) are intact and supplied with current.
2. Check that the bulbs are OK and supplied with current.
3. Check the grounding of each lamp.
4. Check connectors, wiring and ground connections.

IMPORTANT
When fitting a replacement bulb, always make sure that it is of the correct rating.

The "DEFECTIVE LAMP" or "INFO DISPL" indicator lamp in the main instrument display panel may otherwise light up due to imbalance in the filament monitor.

The car's wiring and headlamp reflectors are not designed for higher ratings.
