Dimmer Switch: Locations

The rheostat knob for adjusting the brightness of the instrument lighting is located on the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel.

Electronic unit, rheostat-controlled lighting

The electronic unit is located on the right-hand side under the dashboard. On M95 and later models a PWM rheostat of the same type as on Saab 900 M94- cars has been introduced and the electronic unit is no longer installed.
