Ground Connection

Ground.
The following are connected to ground at grounding point G7P:

^ control module pin 6, power output stage for the injectors
^ control module pin 55, ignition output stage
^ control module pin 34, other output stages
^ ground, mass air flow sensor

The following are connected to ground at grounding point G7S:

^ control module pin 28
^ all screening connected to sensors
^ control module pin 67, coding automatic transmission if car fitted with such.





Sensor Ground.
The following sensors are connected to ground via control module pin 71:

^ throttle position sensor
^ knock sensor
^ rough road sensor
^ engine coolant temperature sensor.

Reference Ground.
The control module provides a reference ground on:

^ pin 40 for the front heated oxygen sensor
^ pin 11 for the mar heated oxygen sensor
^ pin 14 for the mass air flow sensor.
