Front Heated Oxygen Sensor (Oxygen Sensor 1)

To Remove
1. Release the sensor wiring by unplugging the connector under the intake manifold. (The connector and wiring under the intake manifold are extremely difficult of access.) Remove the connector from the bracket.

IMPORTANT: Note how the wiring is run and the points where the cable ties are fastened.

2. Snip the cable ties and remove the wiring.
3. Remove the oxygen sensor.

To Fit

IMPORTANT: Before fitting, lubricate the threads of the oxygen sensor with Molycote 1000 or the equivalent.

Fit and connect the oxygen sensor in reverse order.
Secure the wiring as it was originally.
Tightening torque: 55 Nm (40 ft lbs)
