Shift Interlock: Testing and Inspection
FAULT DIAGNOSIS HINTS1. Check the connectors, wiring harness and ground connections.
When Starting
1. Inspect fuse 1 and check that it is supplied with current.
2. Check that current is supplied to starter interlock relay 437 and that the relay operates.
3. Check that current is supplied to the solenoid when the brake pedal is held down.
When Switching Off
1. Inspect fuse 27 and check that it is supplied with current.
2. Check that current is supplied to solenoid 438 when the P position is selected.
