DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION
The door mirrors are operated by means of a four-position switch and a selector on the driver's door.
Current is supplied from fuse 2 to terminal 3 of operating switch 124 which has four positions. Using selector 125, you can choose which of the two door mirrors, left or right, is to be adjusted with switch 124.
Electrically Adjustable Door Mirrors:
Check in the above image that the switch connections are supplied with current and grounded in each position.
FAULT DIAGNOSIS HINTS
The door mirrors will be operative when the ignition switch is in the Drive position.
1. Inspect fuse 2 and check that it is supplied with current.
2. Check the voltage applied to terminal 3 of switch 124.
3. Check that current is supplied to motors 126D and 126P by activating switch 124.
4. Check the connectors, wiring harness and ground connections.
