Daylight Driving Lights
FAULT DIAGNOSIS HINTSThe daylight driving lights are activated when ignition switch 20 is in the Drive position and lights switch 10 is in position 0 or 1 (US/CA) or only in position 0 (other markets).
1. Check that fuses 5 and 6 (dipped beam) are intact and supplied with current.
2. Check that the bulbs are intact and supplied with current. Check the grounding.
3. Check the lights switch, relay 174 (US/CA) and the filament monitor connections.
4. Check the connectors, wiring harness and ground connections.
IMPORTANT: When changing the bulbs, make sure that the new bulbs are of the correct rating. Otherwise, the lamps in the pictogram may light up due to imbalance in the filament monitor coil.
