Headlamp Assembly Replacement

To Remove, 5-d (CC) and CD -M94
1 Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Important : Do not disconnect the battery cable while the engine is running as this could seriously damage the generator (alternator).

2 Remove the front light cluster retaining screw.
3 Pull out the front edge of the light cluster slightly.
4 US, JP: Remove the bulb holder.
Not US, JP: Remove the lamp cover and unplug the bulb connector and the wiper motor connector.
Disconnect the rubber washer fluid hose from the wiper arm.
5 Remove the lower headlamp retaining bolt.
6 Remove the two upper headlamp retaining bolts.
7 Pull the headlamp slightly sideways towards the wing so that the inner bracket comes loose. Lift the headlamp out diagonally upwards.

To Install
Install in reverse order.
After installation, the alignment of the head lamps must be checked.






To Remove, CS
1 Remove the grille.
2 Release the wire clip for the front light cluster and move it aside.
3 Remove the four headlamp body retaining bolts.
4 Unplug the connector.
5 Lift out the headlamp.

To Install
Install in reverse order.
