WIRING DIAGRAM

DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION
Positive current is supplied from battery 1 to terminal 30 on ignition switch 20 via distribution block 75 and crimped connection J18.

When the key is inserted in the ignition switch, a connection is made between terminals 30 and B. Current is supplied from terminal B to:
^ Pin 3 of the seat-belt/ignition key warning relay.
^ Pin 9 of the control module for anti-theft alarm with immobilizer 583.

FAULT DIAGNOSIS HINTS
1. Check the battery voltage.
2. Check that current is present on the connections of distribution block 75.
3. Check that current is present on terminals 30 and B on ignition switch 20.
4. Check the relevant wiring harness.
