FAULT DIAGNOSIS HINTS
Before starting fault diagnosis, the following points must always be carried out:
^ Read through the safety and handling instructions.
^ Unplug the connectors on the back of the driver and passenger airbags.
^ Connect reference resistor 84 71 153 to each connector.

IMPORTANT: Defective SRS components must not be repaired. Always discard them and fit new components. SRS cables must not be spliced.
