Battery: Description and Operation

The battery is of 12 V type with a capacity of 60 Ah (70 Ah from M95-). Some earlier models have a battery with a capacity of 62 Ah.

The battery is located in the engine bay on the left-hand side and its negative terminal is connected to ground (negative-ground system). On M95 and later models the battery is turned through 180° as shown above.
