Bleeding Clutch Hydraulic System

NOTE: Component identifier numbers used in the following illustration relate to specific steps in the procedures below.





1. Remove the dust cover from the gearbox.
2. Unscrew the lid of the clutch fluid reservoir.
3. Remove the nut on the slave cylinder's bleeding, nipple.
4. Connect airing tool 88 19 096 to the bleeding nipple.
5. Connect compressed air to the bleeding tool and air the clutch until a clear liquid without air bubbles comes out of the nipple.
6. Remove the bleeding tool and tighten the bleeding nipple.
- Check the functioning of the clutch and top up with clutch fluid to the correct level.
7. Install all components.
