Wiper spindles with stayTo Remove
Points marked with an asterisk (*) apply only to cars with AC/ACC.
1 Remove the wiper arms and protective rubber covers.
2 Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3 Remove the bonnet seal, and cover panel and separate the washer hose.
4 Use a screwdriver to prise loose the linking arms.
5*) Unplug the throttle motor connector and remove the vacuum pump.
6*) Remove the circlip from the right-hand wiper spindle and press the spindle down slightly.
7 Remove the two bolts.
8*) Turn the left-hand wiper spindle clockwise.
9 Remove the wiper spindles and stay left-hand spindle first.
To Install
1*) Remove the circlip from the right-hand wiper spindle and press the spindle down slightly.
2*) Turn the left-hand wiper spindle clockwise.
3 Install the wiper spindles and stay, right-hand spindle first.
4 Install the bolts.
5*) Press the right-hand wiper spindle up and install the new circlip.
6 Install the linking arms.
7*) Connect the throttle motor and install the vacuum pump.
8 Reconnect the washer hose, install the cover panel and bonnet seal.
9 Connect the battery.
10 Install the protective rubber covers and the wiper arms.
