Assembly

1. Insert in the cable so the threaded end is against the centre console at fitting.
2. Fit the angle beam.
3. Fit the steering column shaft bearing holder and the clip for the vacuum hose.
4. Fit the bracket for the electronic carrier.
5. Fit the mounting for the facia.
6. Fit the slide rails.
7. Slip in the steering column shaft with the ignition mounting in the right position and fit the circlip to the lower end of the steering column shaft.
8. Fit the universal joint to the steering column shaft.
Tightening torques: 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.)
9. Fit the transversal bolt together with handle and washers.

NOTE: Tighten the nut so hard so a noticeable resistance is felt when the steering wheel adjustment device is pushed in or drawn out at the same time that the friction brake is off.
