Working with fuel
Prolonged contact with fuel can give rise to irritation in the skin and mucous membranes-. The fumes can cause headaches and nausea.


WARNING
Smoking is strictly prohibited.

Always disconnect the battery's negative cable when carrying out any work involving the fuel system. Be mindful of the danger of causing sparks.

Ensure that the premises are well ventilated when carrying out work involving fuel or fuel system components.

Always keep a class B fire extinguisher near at hand.


Before removing the fuel tank
Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Release the pressure in the fuel system.

Drain the fuel tank using liquid suction equipment.


Important
The fuel filter, fuel pump and fuel tank may contain residual fuel.
