Cars in stock must be rectified before delivery. See Product Information with labels sent June 19, 1998.
Owners of cars already delivered will be informed of the fault by means of a personal communication requesting them to affix an enclosed label on their driver's side sun visor.
Cars affected
All cars produced after 2/25/97 and retailed prior to 6/24/98 in the following VIN ranges:
X3000515 - X3003973

Background
An alert label concerning airbag information on the inside of each sun visor must be affixed to the driver's sun visor in order to comply with requirements in FMVSS 208. (Passenger side label already installed.)

50 10 103 Label enclosed in owner notification letter
Procedure
Owner will fit a label in the position shown in the illustration in the owner notification letter to be sent in early September.
