Background
New software in SID requires a different procedure to reset the "TIME FOR SERVICE" message when using the SID CLEAR button.
Note that if you are using Tech 2 the normal clearing procedure can be followed.
Procedure
To reset "TIME FOR SERVICE" message on SID (not using Tech 2), do the following:
1 Press CLEAR button once.
2 Press CLEAR once more for at least 8 seconds. SID will beep once, then again. On the 2nd beep it will flash "SERVICE".
3 Recycle the key to verify you have cleared the message.
