Cold downdraft from steering wheel
Saab 9-5 model year 98-
After standing in the cold for a while1 the airbag module in the steering wheel will have become cold. This results in a cold downdraft, making the hands and the knees of the driver cold, despite the cabin temperature being normal. The air bag module is a large mass and requires a long time to warm up.
To address a customer complaint of this nature, a weatherstrip can be fitted on the airbag module to reduce the risk of downdraft.
