The following are used for the function of the anti-theft alarm:

- Remote control for arming and deactivating the anti-theft alarm via antenna remote control (456).
- An LED (305) which shows the alarm status in various situations.
- The following sensors which can detect a break-in situation:
- Door switches (54)
- Luggage compartment switch (56)
- Bonnet switch (276)
- Glass breakage sensor (451)
- Tilt sensor (457)
- The siren (275) and direction indicators (27) which sound and flash when the alarm is tripped.
