O2S Circuit. Slow Response. Sensor 1.

Fault symptom
Check Engine (OBDII, EOBD).

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
Once per driving cycle.

Enable criteria:
Battery voltage must be between 11 - 16 V.
Coolant temperature greater than 70 degree C.
Motor running more than 180 s.
Engine speed between 1500 - 3000 rpm.
Air mass between 200 - 500 mg/C.
Lambda status 0.
Lambda integrator between 0 - 15 %.
Bleeding adaptation more than -10%.
Diagnostics for the following components/systems must NOT have reported a fault:
- Mass air flow sensor
- Crankshaft position sensor
- EVAP Valve
- Shut-off valve, EVAP canister.
- Secondary air injection system (SAI).
- Tank integrity system (EVAP).

Fault criteria:
When all conditions are fulfilled, the number of combustion is counted during 4 lambda transitions.
Number of combustions exceeds 250.

Dependent:
P0101, P0102, P0103

System reaction to a fault:
None

OK report:
Diagnosis completed without fault report.

Fault handling:
Type III
(See Description of On-Board Diagnostics/Fault handling III, "Other emission-related components and functions" for more information.)

Checking the wiring harness
Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force.
