This bulletin is being revised to update the VIN breakpoints. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 05-08-128-001 (Section 08 - Body & Accessories).
This bulletin is being issued to inform dealers that a running change in production was recently implemented on the above listed vehicles that adds a new customization feature to the driver information center (DIC). This new feature allows the driver to recall the memory seat, outside mirrors and adjustable pedals (if equipped) positions when using the remote keyless entry (RKE) or when the key is inserted into the ignition.
When scrolling through the DIC, customers will now find an option named "SEAT RECALL". The default setting from the factory is "OFF". If "ON REMOTE" is selected, the saved memory settings for the driver's seat, outside mirrors and adjustable pedals (if equipped) will be restored. If "AT KEY IN" is selected, the saved memory settings for the driver's seat, outside mirrors and adjustable pedals (if equipped) will be restored when the key is put into the ignition. The saved settings are recalled for driver 1 or 2 based on the last key fob usage. The memory saved positions correspond to the key fob number, which matches the memory setting buttons on the armrest. Vehicles built with this feature have an Owner's Manual supplement included.
