Warning and Indicator Lamps
Warning and Indicator Lamps
An acoustic signal is incorporated to indicate that a fault has arisen which relates to the safety of the car.
The acoustic signal is activated when one of the warning or indicator lamps is lit.
The acoustic signal is also activated if the coolant temperature is high.
The main instrument unit sends a bus message requesting the SID control module to activate an acoustic signal. This does not occur when the ignition is switched on when the lamps are only being tested, the engine speed must exceed 300 rpm for this request.
