Transmission Mount Spacer Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Mount Replacement (4.2L) ()Transmission Mount Replacement (5.3L) (Transmission Mount Replacement (5.3L)).
3. Remove the transmission mount spacer mounting bolts (2).
4. Remove the transmission mount spacer (1).

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

1. Install the transmission mount spacer (1).
2. Install the transmission mount spacer mounting bolts (2).

Tighten the bolts to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.).

3. Install the transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Mount Replacement (4.2L) ()Transmission Mount Replacement (5.3L) (Transmission Mount Replacement (5.3L)).
4. Lower the vehicle.
