Brakes Service Manual Update (Correct Service Manual with Updated Information)
PURPOSE:
The 1991-1992 Brakes Service Manual has incorrect wiring diagrams on pages 24, 26, 28 and 153, an incorrect step in the diagnostic chart on page 113, and the ABS module pinout on page 157 has incorrect wire colors. Please review these pages and make the following corrections in your copy of the "1991-1992 Saturn Brakes Service Manual."
CORRECTIVE ACTION:
^ Page CHBK 24 has an electrical schematic at the top of the page. Please change the schematic according to instructions given in Figure 1.
^ Pages CHBK 26 and CHBK 28 have an electrical schematic at the top of the page. Please change the schematic according to instructions given in Figure 2.
^ Page CHBK 113 has a change to one of the solution boxes in the Diagnostic Chart. Refer to Figure 3 for the change required.
^ Page CHBK 153 has the second page of a two page electrical schematic. Please make changes to the wiring diagram in the service manual based on the changes shown in Figure 4 of this bulletin.
^ Page CHBK 157 has an ABS Printout for model years 1991 and 1992. Changes for this page are shown in Figure 5 and all changes are in bold type and highlighted for easy identification.
