Popping Noise





1. Remove I/P upper trim panel. Refer to I/P Upper Trim Panel Removal in the beginning of this bulletin.

2. Turn I/P upper trim panel upside down on a clean protected surface.

3. Clean bottom of the three standoffs located on the bottom front of the I/P upper trim panel using Kent Industries Acrysol (P/N 20005) or equivalent.

4. Install three pieces, one inch long, of 3M(R) SCOTCH MATE Hook and Loop Fastening System (P/N 06480) or equivalent, using only the loop part of the material, to the three standoffs located at the front of I/P upper trim panel.

5. Proceed to I/P Upper Trim Panel Installation in this bulletin.


I/P Upper Trim Panel Installation





1. Install I/P upper trim panel by inserting it into retaining clips at windshield and snapping rear of panel into place.





2. Install I/P upper trim panel screws and screw caps.
