Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Current diagnostic trouble codes are cleared every time the ignition is turned off. To clear Malf History (Past Diagnostic Trouble Codes), select Clear Codes function on the scan tool. Past diagnostic trouble codes will clear themselves after 100 ignition cycles with no fault occurring. Disconnecting power to the ABCM has no effect on stored diagnostic trouble codes.
