Circuit 33CC (Without ABS)

FUNCTION: This Circuit provides a signal to the I/P cluster from the low brake fluid switch. The switch is closed when the brake fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir is low.

Check the brake warning telltale ground circuit for opens or shorts to ground. Turn the ignition to Run and check for voltage on circuit 33CC. If voltage is zero, the circuit is open.

With the parking brake Off, ignition Off, and brake fluid filled check the resistance to ground on circuit 33CC at the cluster harness connector (disconnected). The circuit should be open. If it is less than one ohm, the circuit is shorted to ground or the switch is at fault.

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.
