Starting and Charging Diagnosis

The ECM monitors battery voltage continuously after power up. This code will set if the ECM sees this voltage fall below 10 volts.

DTC PARAMETERS
This DTC P0562 will set when:
^ Vehicle Speed greater than 0 mph
^ Engine running greater than 3 mm.
^ Battery voltage is between 2.5 and 10 volts
^ Above condition met for 200 milliseconds

DTC P0562 is a (type D) DTC.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
This DTC can set if all accessories are on for extended idling periods. This does not indicate a problem.

Check charging system.
