Purpose:
The purpose of this bulletin is to update all the 2000 So-Series Restraints Service Manuals at your location. Please obtain all the 2000 So-Series Restraints Service Manuals and make the necessary update as indicated.

On page 59, in step 2 toward the bottom of the page, cross out the word "bracket" and write in "jacket" and cross out the dimensions "85.50 mm (3.37 in.)" and change to "120.98 mm (4.76 in.)."

After this correction has been made, step 2 should read as follows:

Check steering column jacket for collapse by measuring between the end of the bearing assembly and the lower edge of the upper jacket. If the dimension is less than 120.98 mm (4.76 in.), replace the steering column assembly.
