Camshaft Removal - Left Side

1. Remove the camshaft bearing cap bolts.






2. Remove the camshaft bearing caps. Note the code marks on the bearing caps (R1, R2, R3, etc.).
- The bearing caps for the passenger side cylinder head are marked with an L, followed by a number.
- The bearing caps for the drivers side cylinder head are marked with an R, followed by a number.
3. Remove the camshafts with the seal attached.
4. Remove the camshaft seal.
