Engine Coolant Temperature

The engine coolant temperature warning telltale is turned On by the cluster when it receives a command from the PCM (L61) engine or the BCM (L81) engine. When the coolant temperature is above the specified range, the engine coolant temperature warning telltale will be illuminated.

The engine coolant temperature warning telltale is turned On by the cluster for 2-3 seconds, when the ignition is turned to RUN, for a visual system check.
