Cause

The cause of this condition may be the wheel speed sensor diagnostic thresholds in the EBCM are too tight for the current wheel speed sensors.

Correction

When reading the DTCs in the Tech 2(R), pull up the "Enhanced DTC Data" (refer to the steps below). For the above listed diagnostic codes, look for the line titled "DTC Sub Code" and make note of the characters to the right (refer to the graphic). If the sub code listed is either 04, 05, 06, or 07, then reprogram the EBCM with updated calibration files using the TIS2WEB Service Programming System (SPS) application. Both the operating system and electronic brake calibrations must be installed for a complete repair.

If the sub code is not 04, 05, 06, or 07, then this bulletin does not apply, refer to the appropriate DTC information in SI.

After installing software, road test the vehicle and verify that the ESC/TCS and ABS light go off while driving and codes are able to be cleared. If the code test had not passed prior to the last time the ignition was turned off, the code will still be active upon key up and will not clear until it is determined the fault is no longer present. In this case vehicle speed will be required.
