KM6067 Radio Removal Tools

Removal Procedure
Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning (Service Precautions).


Note: When replacing the control unit, before removing the control unit, carry out a Reset using TECH 2. For reprogramming procedures, refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning).

1. Disconnect the battery.




2. Remove the radio.

* Install the removal bar KM6067 into the openings (arrows) until it engages.
* Pull both removal bars outwards and at the same time withdraw the radio from the holder.

3. Disconnect the wiring harness plug.
Disconnect the 2 wiring harness plugs (1, 2).

Installation Procedure

1. Connect the wiring harness plug.
Connect the 2 wiring harness plugs.
2. Install the radio.
Push the radio into the holder until it engages.
3. Connect the battery.
4. For reprogramming procedures, refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning).
