SLIDING ROOF: SLIDING ROOF SYSTEM: B2325: LIN Communication Bus Malfunction

DTC B2325 - LIN Communication Bus Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU intermittently monitors the LIN communication bus between the components related to the sliding roof. DTC B2325 is stored when a malfunction in the LIN communication bus between the components related to the sliding roof is detected consecutively 3 times.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE: When using the Techstream with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot:

Connect the Techstream to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the Techstream and vehicle begins.
HINT: When DTC B2325 and a LIN communication stop DTC are output simultaneously, first perform the troubleshooting for the LIN communication stop DTC. Then perform the troubleshooting for DTC B2325.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - SLIDING ROOF ECU)





(a) Disconnect the C45 ECU connector.
(b) Disconnect the J3 drive gear connector.
(c) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:






Standard Voltage:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. REPLACE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Temporarily replace the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly with a new or normally functioning one .
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs .
(b) Check the DTCs .
