SLIDING ROOF: SLIDING ROOF HOUSING: REASSEMBLY

REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL SLIDING ROOF DRIVE CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Insert the cable section of the sliding roof drive cable.
(b) Align the sliding roof drive cable with the sliding roof housing's guide, and slide it in the direction indicated by the arrow.






(c) Hold down the window deflector.
NOTE: Make sure that the spring indicated by the arrow in the illustration is securely installed.

(d) Slide the drive cable in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install it.






(e) Engage the 2 claws to install the sliding roof drip channel.






(f) Install the sliding roof side stopper RH with the screw.
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

2. ADJUST SLIDING ROOF DRIVE CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Align the match marks by sliding the drive cable in the directions indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
3. INSTALL SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Insert the sunshade trim into the sliding roof housing.






(b) Install the sliding roof piece RH with the screw.
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

4. INSTALL SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Install the sliding roof drive gear with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
