2AZ-FE FUEL: FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION WITH COVER PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

2. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

3. REMOVE FUEL TANK MAIN TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

4. REMOVE FUEL PUMP GAUGE RETAINER

5. REMOVE FUEL SUCTION WITH PUMP AND GAUGE TUBE ASSEMBLY

6. REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the fuel sender gauge connector.
(b) Remove the wire harness protector.
(c) Separate the wire harness.
NOTE: Do not damage the wire harness.





(d) Release the lock as shown in the illustration and slide the fuel sender gauge to remove it.
