2AZ-FE EMISSION CONTROL: CANISTER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CANISTER





(a) Install the canister with the 2bolts and nut.

Torque : 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

(b) Install the wire harness

(c) Connect the connector.





(d) Connect the fuel tank vent hose.





NOTICE:
* Check that there are no scratches or foreign objects on the disconnected parts of the fuel tank vent connector and pipe before performing the work.
* After connecting the fuel tank vent hose, check that the fuel tank vent hose is securely connected by pulling the quick connector.

(e) Connect the air inlet hose.





NOTICE:
* Check that there are no scratches or foreign objects on the disconnected parts of the air inlet hose connector and pipe before performing the work.
* After connecting the air inlet hose, check that the air inlet hose is securely connected by pulling the quick connector.

(f) Connect the charcoal canister outlet hose.
