Accelerator Pedal: Testing and Inspection

2AZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Accel Sensor Out No. 1, Accel Sensor Out No. 2.

(e) Read the value displayed on the tester.

Accel Sensor Out No. 1 Standard Voltage:





Accel Sensor Out No. 2 Standard Voltage:





If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal assembly, wire harness or ECM.
