The main body ECU (network gateway ECU) stores this code if the main body ECU (network gateway ECU) reference code and the reference code from the combination meter do not match.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
If the combination meter assembly is replaced, refer to Registration Programming and Relearning.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

DTC B1407 or B1408 is not output.

HINT
Check DTCs B1407 and B1408 first.

NG -- GO TO DTC CHART Engine Immobilizer System
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. REGISTER RECOGNITION CODES (ECU CODE REGISTRATION)

(a) Register the recognition codes (ECU code registration) Programming and Relearning.

OK:

The ECU code can be registered.

NG -- CHECK FOR DTC

OK -- END

3. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

DTC B1407 or B1408 is not output.
