DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (network gateway ECU) stores this code if an improper key (a key not registered in the main body ECU (network gateway ECU)) is inserted into the ignition key cylinder.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
If the main body ECU (network gateway ECU) is replaced, refer to Registration Programming and Relearning.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

DTC B1410 and B1411 are not output.

HINT
Check DTCs B1410 and B1411 first.

NG -- GO TO DTC CHART Engine Immobilizer System
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. REGISTER KEY

(a) Reregister the key Programming and Relearning.

OK:

The key code can be registered.

NG -- REGISTER KEY

OK -- END

3. REGISTER KEY

(a) Using an unregistered key, register the key code Programming and Relearning.

OK:

The key code can be registered.

NG -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU) Removal
