B1577 - Immobiliser System EEPROM Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The ECM stores this code when an internal malfunction is detected in the main body ECU (network gateway ECU) or when the ROM in the main body ECU (network gateway ECU) cannot be accessed.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
If the main body ECU (network gateway ECU) is replaced, refer to Registration Programming and Relearning.

PROCEDURE

1. ERASURE OF KEY CODE

(a) Prepare all the registered keys, and then clear all the key codes Programming and Relearning.

OK:

The key code can be erasure.

NG -- REGISTER KEY

OK -- END (REGISTER ALL THE KEYS)

2. REGISTER KEY

(a) Perform the key code re-registration Programming and Relearning.

OK:

The key code can be registered.

NG -- ERASURE OF KEY CODE

OK -- END (REGISTER ALL THE KEYS)

3. ERASURE OF KEY CODE

(a) Perform the key code erasure Programming and Relearning.

OK:

The key code can be erasure.

NG -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU) Removal

OK -- END (REGISTER ALL THE KEYS)
