DESCRIPTION

DTC B1761 is stored when the occupant detection sensor is wet.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. DRYING FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Open the car windows inside a well-ventilated room and let the sheet dry for 24 hours.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs stored in the occupant detection ECU Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(b) Clear the DTCs stored in the airbag ECU assembly Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(c) Turn the ignition switch off.

(d) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(e) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

DTC B1761 is not output.
