DESCRIPTION

The shift solenoid valve SLU is controlled by the duty ratio as determined in advance by the TCM. In this way, it carries out lock-up and flex lock-up control.





MONITOR DESCRIPTION

When an open or short in a shift solenoid valve SLU circuit is detected, the TCM determines there is a malfunction. The TCM will turn on the MIL and store this DTC.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
Perform the universal trip to clear permanent DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT TRANSMISSION WIRE (SLU)

(a) Disconnect the L4 transmission wire connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





(c) Connect the L4 transmission wire connector.

NG -- INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLU (TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY)
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE - TCM)

(a) Disconnect the A18 TCM connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





(c) Connect the A18 TCM connector.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. REPLACE TCM

(a) Replace the TCM Removal.

NEXT -- PERFORM THE RESET MEMORY Programming and Relearning

4. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLU (TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY) P2757

NG -- REPLACE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY Removal

OK -- REPAIR OR REPLACE TRANSMISSION WIRE Removal
