Accessory Fork Mount Bike Carrier

1995 LEGACY S/W ACCESSORY FORK MOUNT BIKE CARRIER

Be advised that if the accessory FORK MOUNT BIKE CARRIER (P/N E3610AS100) is installed BACKWARDS on a 1995 SUBARU LEGACY station wagon, damage to the tailgate will result when the tailgate is opened.

The bicycle carrier, when properly installed, mounts the bicycle's rear tire towards the front of the vehicle on the roof.

Installing the bicycle carrier backwards, will allow the bike channel assembly to extend past the rear of the roof and interfere with the tailgate when opened.

Updated installation instructions are dated April, 1994 at the lower right hand corner of the instruction sheet. A date of January, 1993 designates the kit as an earlier model and will work but the BIKE CHANNEL MUST BE REVERSED so it does not extend past the rear of the vehicle as mentioned above.
