Fig. 1 Instrument Panel Mounting Bolts:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove console box.
2. Disconnect all wires and cables from heater and blower units.
3. Remove steering wheel, steering column and steering joint upper bolt.
4. Disconnect speedometer cable, then remove speedometer assembly.
5. Remove both front speaker garnishes and center cover.
6. Remove instrument panel member mounting bolts, Fig. 1.
7. Remove instrument panel and panel member as an assembly.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
